God's Tapestry Of Life
EACH DAY OF OUR LIFE IS ONLY A THREAD OF TIME.
Each thread is woven together with many other threads in order to give it substance
and life.  The first threads are usually the strongest and the last ones to fray.
  THIS WE CALL FAMILY!
Our threads of life are constantly turning and spinning and continually changing
as we all grow into the tapestry we will become. The family threads are not the only
ones that give us our colorful blends, but there are many others of multiple colors
   and textures.
  THIS WE CALL, FRIENDS!
After God has finished his weaving he sits back and examines his work, as with most
weaves some threads are closer than others and tight woven, some will have flaws and
some will have frayed, but each one is important in order for the cloth to be strong and
   beautiful and full of life.
THIS WE CALL, THE SOUL OF OUR LIFE!
Over time as we use and reuse God's tapestry it becomes sagged and worn. This is
when it becomes a time for the cloth to be gently laid upon God's shelf and only the
memories of its strength, it's beauty, it's warmth, and the amount of love it gave will
remain with us, for the tapestry was loved and shared by many, for a long time. It  kept
us warm and protected, it was there to hide behind when we were afraid or lonely,
it sometimes reminded us we still needed to grow. But all tapestries must be laid down
to rest in God's house one day to join the many others that came before, for God's
tapestry had done the job it was woven to do, and now the job was finished.
  THIS WE CALL, DEATH!!!
This was written for my sister "Betty", and all those loved ones that have passed away
before her and the loved ones left behind to remember them.
No one dies as long as they live in someone's heart.
